Hitting the road - seeking feedback and spreading The Future Flock message

Connecting with industry remains at the heart of The Future Flock - and that’s why National Advisory Panel members and their networks are playing a crucial role in early engagement.

Initial industry conversations have centred on why a clear national direction matters for the sheepmeat and wool sector, exploring the purpose behind the strategy and, most importantly, how producers and farm service providers can help shape it through practical, on-ground feedback to ensure The Future Flock reflects real experience right across the supply chain. 

Dr Holly Ludeman outlined the early stages of the national initiative at a WA Shearing Industry Association member meeting, while Dr Alex Ball encouraged growers to have their say during a SRS Genetics workshop in Armidale which includes a network of up to 80 growers.
